Anthony (Tony) Costello AM MD FRACS FRCSI Hon MB BS is an Australian trained surgeon formerly head of the Department of Urology Royal Melbourne Hospital (1999 – 2020) and remains Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne Department of Surgery. After his Australian surgical fellowship Tony trained as a fellow in urologic oncology at MD Anderson University of Texas Houston and subsequently trained in urologic oncology, reconstructive urology, kidney transplant and trauma surgery at the University of London Royal London Hospital. He began his career serving in the US Military, serving as an Airbourne Ranger in the US Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment. Adam Spent 8.5 years as the Vice President of Clinical Sales for Intuitive Surgical, leading the Western US market. The experience at Intuitive provided a very broad knowledge of the robotic surgery business. Has a strong passion for improving safety, quality and outcomes in surgery and in surgical education. Andrew is an experienced consultant in public and private sectors in roles as project director, manager and researcher in environmental science and heritage.
